These fabulous pieces of jewelry are made in New York by the design team of Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg. They cost a bit more than my usual finds, but I think they are so cool! Apparently the artists are inspired by the natural world as seen through computer design. Check out their store on Etsy: Nervoussystem.
Radiolaria necklace $60

Radiolaria bracelet $55

Dendrite brooch $50

I think the pieces are pretty great!
You can read more about them here.

I found another fabulous Etsy shop called electrofork with fantastic jewelry. The designer is from Brooklyn, NY and says the goodies are “photographic resin jewelry and other delightful nonsense.” They are delightful. And very affordable!

I found a gorgeous Etsy shop yesterday with lovely and fabulous jewelry that is quite unique. Lauren Roberts’ shop of the same name features laser cut acrylic jewelry in gorgeous designs in the bold colors of white and black. She says they are “based on a vintage piece of lace and brought into the modern day with new technology.”
Aren’t they wonderful?
White Drop Earrings $42

Large Lace Necklace $58

White Chandelier Earrings $48

Keep your eyes open, I think we will see more of her work in magazines and on blogs in the near future!

I thought you should see this little Etsy shop full of sweet crafts…
Tamar has been a Creative Director and fashion Stylist, and has turned her creative eye to designing some very pretty things for her line Nest Pretty Things.
She has purses, fairytale crowns, dreamcatchers, pins, magnets and pouches.
Nothing costs too much, and anything from here would make a really pretty gift.

I am about to start grad school, so in my few remaining moments of freedom, I thought I would do some quick posts about cute Valentine’s Day crafts.
Here is a fabulous bag from tortillagirl from Etsy’s Valentine Showcase.

Big Fat Heart is $45 and made from French cotton serge and vinyl. It is made by Becky who has studied at l’Ecole Superieure des Arts et techniques de la Mode, the first fashion school established in France. I love the look and name of this bag, as well as the thought of Becky making it while sipping kir royale! How romantique!

Today I wanted to tell you about a fabulous goody I bought from Etsy. I was lusting after it for a while and finally I got one to try. It is a car litter bag by Allyson Hill. I got the one in Zinnia.
They are $19 and come with a plastic liner, and adjustable strap and a button. You can attach it to the back of your seat or hang it from the stick shift. I think it is an ingenious design and I am excited that she is doing so well with them. She also sells a roll of bags to use as liners, or you use other plastic bags that you want to recycle.

Allyson is a crafty lady from Upstate NY who graduated from RIT with a major in woodworking and furniture design. She now runs her shop, goes to craft fairs and is the mom of a cute 5 year old boy- see her blog here.
Keep checking bag in her shop to see what fabrics she will be using next!

No, it isn’t jewelry that is catching…. though they are growing on me! These pieces are made by an artist with a BFA in photography who lives in Andover. She just started her Etsy shop Contagious in November and I found her work today. I am breaking my rule of keeping my goodies under $50 because some of her pieces sell for $120. She works in sterling silver and 14k and 18k gold and makes some very unique designs. I love these statements from her profile:
Each component of the natural world is beautiful, from molecules passing through the walls of cells to toxic mold, from single-celled organisms to deadly viruses. By embellishing ourselves with the forms we take for granted or are too afraid to think about, we celebrate ourselves and our place in the world around us.
Trifoliate earrings $70

Cocoon earrings $85

Fine Line rings $50

She sells in boutiques across the country but you can just get them from her Etsy store.
I love Etsy!
